November 2024 Newsletter

Dear Members,

I hope this finds you all well.

As we get into the last quarter of the year, I wanted to get in touch to let you know about some of the exciting things we have coming up over the next couple of months – so please do read on!

Club sale

I will go to this first as we have understandably had many questions about it. The sale process is still in the final stage, so at this moment, I have no further updates. However, I do know there has been great interest in the clubs, which is very encouraging to see, particularly in this relatively challenging market. As soon as we know more, and we are in a position to share more information, we certainly will – we do still hope to have everything completed by the end of December, as per our last update.

Halloween!

It’s one of our favourite times of the year! Throughout Halloween week, we will be holding challenges on the gym floor, with prizes for all the winners! We are also fairly sure that some of our class instructors will be teaching in fancy dress, should you wish to join them Look out for posters around the club, and updates on our socials.

New faces

You may have seen some new faces on the gym floor, as we have welcomed both Rachel and Nathan to our team of fitness coaches. With a variety of experience between them, both Rachel and Nathan bring individual expertise to our team, and we are delighted to have them on board! Look out for them on the gym floor or teaching one of your favourite classes!

Bring your child with you!

Did you know that from the age of 12, children are able to use the gym floor here at the club once they have had an induction with one of our fitness team? Just something to consider now that we are heading into the half term break! As a reminder, the hours for our younger members are as follows:
Tuesday / Thursday / Friday 15:00-18:00
Saturday & Sunday 13:00-18:00

Towels

We are looking at the possibility of having some towels on hand to purchase should one be forgotten. We are looking at various options and will update everyone if we find a suitable solution.

Class Timetable

At this time, with it being so close to the end of the year, we will not be making any major changes to the class timetable. We will review it ready for January, however, please do also be aware that as always, we will be making adjustments to the timetable during the festive period. We anticipate the club will be much quieter during this time, as with every year, so some classes will be off for a couple of weeks.

Membership cards

A polite reminder to everyone to please bring your membership card to the club when you arrive. We have many members enter the club and stand by the gate expecting to be let in – if you choose to do this, please do not be offended if our team members ask for your name. They have all been given the instruction not to allow access to anybody until they have recorded attendance on our system, so they will need to ask your name and do so prior to opening the gate. We have several new team members also, and while they are still learning the names of everybody, please respect the fact that they are following my instructions. Any queries regarding this should be sent directly to myself.

Having been welcoming members to the club now for more than 16 years, we are delighted with the community spirit we have forged. Our team are here to ensure your experience is as enjoyable as possible, and we are here to help with any queries you may have.
We have always requested that our team members be treated with the same respect that they show you, and we would like to request that this is also extended to fellow members. We all share the same space, and we need to ensure that all members are equally welcome to use the club and its facilities.

We will be in touch again before the festive period, however, as always if you have any feedback, queries, or concerns, please do let us know. The quickest way to reach us is at: info@chiswickbridge.roko.co.uk

Many thanks,
Kati & Team Chiswick
