Hello!
We wanted to start this newsletter with some happy news – we’re sure you’ll be very pleased to hear that our General Manager Kati gave birth to a baby girl named Amaia on 14th December! Both are doing very well and we’re sending lots of warm wishes to them from everyone at Roko.
Group Exercise Timetable & Workshops
Check out our latest timetable update which is live on the website now and please give our new instructors a very warm welcome – new for 2024, we have: Tai Chi with Anna (Tuesdays 12pm), Pilates with Abi (Tuesdays 6pm) and Zumba with Marina (Wednesdays 10.30am).
We also have several exciting weekend workshops coming up including Salsa on 10th March 4pm-6pm, e-mail Ginu at bamboo@clubazucar.co.uk for more information.
If yoga is more your thing, Christina is running a Yoga for Renewal workshop on 17th March at 3pm, e-mail tinadiver@hotmail.com to book.
Tour de Roko
This year for Red Nose Day we will once again be attempting to cycle the 271.4 miles between all 4 Roko clubs, while raising money for Comic Relief. We would love to see you jump on a bike in club on 15th March to see how far you can get us! There will be prizes for the number of miles cycled including guest passes, a free month membership and a not to be missed lucky dip.

Easter holidays
We expect the club to be a little quieter over the Easter holidays, so please make sure to check out the revised Easter timetable from 28th March – 7th April which will be published on the website later in March. There will also be no swimming lessons 29th March – 14th April but family swim will continue during these dates.
As a reminder, our children’s hours and family swim times are: Tuesday / Thursday / Friday 15:00-18:00 & Saturday / Sunday 13:00-18:00.
Easter egg donation
This year we are collecting Easter eggs for S.M.I.L.E who are a charity supporting families in need. If you would like to donate, please bring in an egg and drop it off at the Reception desk by 20th March. Any donation large or small is very much appreciated, thank-you very much in advance.
Rachel Staggs Aesthetics
Have you visited the amazing team at Rachel Staggs Aesthetics yet? They are an award-winning spa and clinic, located on the ground floor just before the Reception desk, the talented team offer a huge range of face and body treatments.
Throughout March, they are offering all Roko members a complimentary consultation plus 10% off anything booked in March!

Towels
We are aware of the issues surrounding the availability of towels, especially over the weekend. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused when we do unfortunately run out and thank-you for your patience as we work through the issues with our supplier. We are working on a solution so hope to have this issue resolved soon.
Health & Safety
We would like to remind members to please use the poolside showers before using the pool and jacuzzi, and after using the sauna and steam room. If there are any poolside issues that you need to make us aware of, we kindly ask that you notify one of the Reception team before leaving the club so that we can rectify as soon as possible.
